Our Process

1. Dream It

Initial Meeting Stage

After your first inquiry we will set up a meeting on site or in our office to discuss your project. Whether your project is large or small, extensive or limited we will work with you to achieve your goals. At this meeting we will outline your preferences for the type of home (or renovation) you want in regard to architectural style, room function, design elements and lifestyle requirements. We will discuss your specifications and budget considerations. If necessary, we will refer you to qualified lenders who can help you with financing options. You will also meet our expert team who will personally be working with you through the entire building process.

2. Design It

Planning & Design Stage

The next step is the planning and design of your home. A Design Agreement is prepared that allows us to start preliminary drawing for your home and estimate a budget for your project. This planning and design phase may also include meetings with trade partners and architects, developing conceptual drawings, previewing custom selections at our design showroom, evaluating mechanical systems, reviewing plans, building a budget and presenting your proposal.

Agreement to Construct Stage

Once we have the final approval of your conceptual plans and preliminary budget, an Agreement to Construct contract is prepared. This stage gives us the opportunity to start the final design and engineering processes, establish a construction schedule and apply for applicable governmental permits. Meetings are scheduled with our construction team to plan your home and our design manager to finalize your selections of cabinets, flooring, lighting etc.

Selections & Design Final Stage

Once you have finalized your finishes, a proposal will be presented showing the final costs for your project. After your approval, an addendum to the Agreement to Construct and detailed documentation of your choices will be prepared for your approval. This allows us to start ordering the necessary materials needed for your project and scheduling the construction phases of your home with our trusted trade partners.

3. Build It

Construction Stage

You will be assigned a construction manager who will oversee and manage your project on a daily basis. Your construction manger is trained in the latest construction, mechanical and building systems, and local building codes to insure a high level of level of quality and safety. Cleanliness on the job site and in your home is also a top priority for us. Your construction, project and design managers will serve as your team throughout the entire process.

4. Live It

Orientation

Upon completion of your home, a final orientation is scheduled with your construction manager to present your finished home and show you how to use mechanical and other systems that may have been installed.

Our Warranty

Through our customer care department, we warrant your home against defects in our original installed materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of completion and provide a two (2) year systems warranty and a ten (10) year structural warranty.
